The frenzy unfolded after Vijay arrived from Malaysia, where he had attended the audio launch of his upcoming film “Jana Nayakan.” As he approached the exit gate, fans surged forward, causing a momentary panic near his car. In the commotion, Vijay lost his balance and fell just seconds before reaching his vehicle. Quick intervention by security ensured the actor was back on his feet immediately.

Amid the chaos, one vehicle in Vijay’s convoy was reportedly involved in a minor accident, although authorities and the actor’s team have not officially confirmed this. Despite the incident, Vijay managed to exit the airport safely, after which the security was tightened to control the crowd.

Addressing the crowd, he said that he has decided to step away from cinema for his fans, who have supported him unconditionally. He stated, “When I stepped into cinema, I thought I was building a small house of sand. But all of you helped me build a palace. You helped me build a fortress… and for those fans who have given me everything, I have decided to stand for them and leave cinema behind.”
