BJP Appoints Six Frontline State Presidents in Rajasthan; Shankar Gora Takes Charge of Youth Wing

Jaipur, Rajasthan: In a significant organizational move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed six state-level wing presidents in Rajasthan, signaling a strategic push ahead of upcoming elections and social engagements. Among the key appointments, Shankar Gora has been entrusted with the leadership of the Youth Wing.

The appointments come amid ongoing discussions about cabinet reshuffles and board-level postings in the state. The party, now in power, has focused on strengthening its organizational structure by bringing experienced leaders as well as fresh faces into critical positions.

Shankar Gora: A Rising Leader
Shankar Gora, who has risen through student politics, previously served as the State Joint Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and later as the BJP State Spokesperson. Known for his grassroots connect and influence among the youth, Gora’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to bring the new generation to the forefront of the party.

Other Key Appointments

• Former Union Minister Nihalchand Meghwal has been appointed State President of the Scheduled Caste Wing, marking his political comeback after a period away from active politics.
• Former Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary has been given charge of the Kisan (Farmers) Wing, reflecting the party’s focus on engaging rural and farming communities.
• Gopichand Meena, MLA from Jahazpur, has been appointed State President of the Scheduled Tribes Wing.
• Mahendra Kumawat, a long-time organizational leader, has been named OBC Wing President.
• Hameed Khan Mewati retains the position of Minority Wing President, the only continuity in this organizational reshuffle.

According to political analysts, these appointments are not merely organizational but are aimed at preparing for panchayat, municipal, and other upcoming electoral challenges.
