UP Police Seizes Rs 2 Crore Assets of Gangster Goldy aka Bablu; Multiple Cases Filed Across Police Stations

Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh: The Firozabad Police have seized immovable assets worth over Rs 2 crore belonging to notorious gangster Goldy, also known as Bablu. Operating under the guise of legal practice, Goldy ran an organized gang and earned illegal profits through fraud, forged property documents, and illegal land grabs.

Police Action Under Gangster Act

Acting on instructions from SSP Saurabh Dixit, the police executed the seizure under the Gangster Act. A case registered at Jasrana Police Station related to Goldy’s gang led to the confiscation of assets exceeding Rs 2 crore.

Goldy, along with his mother Munni Devi and brother Prakash Babu, allegedly engaged in fraud, conspiracy, manipulation, and creation of fake property deeds. He was also known for violent intimidation and illegal encroachment on properties to secure financial gains. The police action has sent shockwaves through the local criminal network.

Criminal Profile of Goldy

Goldy, son of Gajadhar Singh, is a resident of Kotla Road, Ojha Nagar, Firozabad. He has over half a dozen criminal cases registered against him in various police stations across the district, including charges under:

  • POCSO Act
  • Fraud/Deception
  • Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections
  • SC/ST Act
  • Gangster Act

Previously, he was declared a crime mafia and placed under police surveillance.

Seizure and Registration of Gang

On Wednesday, the police publicly announced the seizure of Goldy’s assets with drum beats and official proclamations, generating a significant stir among local criminal elements. Following this, a detailed report prepared by SSP Saurabh Dixit was sent to senior officials. The Additional Director General of Police, Agra Zone, subsequently registered Goldy’s gang as Inter Range Gang IR-22, Firozabad district.
