Imran Khan’s Sister Warns: ‘No One Can Harm a Hair on His Head’ Amid Assassination Rumors

Islamabad, 27 Nov 2025: Amid swirling rumors about a possible assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, his sister Aleema Khan has issued a strong warning to the authorities. “No one has the courage to touch a single hair on Imran Khan’s head,” she declared, highlighting concerns over the safety of her brother.

The rumors have persisted despite clarifications from the Shehbaz government and prison authorities. Aleema Khan criticized Pakistan’s judicial system, calling it “unexpectedly ruined,” and insisted that investigations be conducted into both the assassination claims and Imran Khan’s health. Officials at Adiala Jail have affirmed that the former Prime Minister is in full health and faces no immediate danger.

According to Aleema, Imran Khan has been held in isolation for at least six weeks, and even close family members have been denied access in violation of court orders. “We last met him three to four weeks ago, and he was in good health,” she said. Aleema further pointed out the lack of judicial independence in Pakistan, noting that while some judges are competent, their autonomy has been severely compromised.

She also criticized the Shehbaz government and Field Marshal Asim Munir, referencing the 27th constitutional amendment, which she claims favors certain individuals and undermines accountability. “Authorities cannot take the risk of harming Imran Khan. The public anger in Pakistan is immense, and if anything happens to him, the consequences will be severe,” Aleema warned.

Highlighting the repression faced by protesters, she recalled being dragged away during a demonstration despite being 71 years old, emphasizing the tension and volatility surrounding political dissent in Pakistan.
